Founded in 2020, Solar Cooling is focused on a new way to cool and heat buildings: using solar energy directly, simply and efficiently.

We specialize in solar hybrid AC/DC mini-split heat pumps designed to operate directly from solar panels, with the electrical grid, or another AC power source, available as backup whenever additional power is needed. This technology gives greater energy flexibility, whether the goal is to reduce reliance on the grid, power an off-grid space or maintain more resilient cooling and heating during periods of limited or unreliable grid power.

Our focus goes beyond offering another heat pump. We are developing a more flexible approach to comfort, one that can serve homes and commercial spaces, but also off-grid properties and cottages, as well as regions where grid reliability and resilience in terms of cooling and heating is a growing concern.

From simplifying system design to providing the components, guidance and support needed to complete a project, our goal is to make solar-powered cooling and heating more accessible and practical.

Solar Cooling is a division of Ecosolaris, a Canadian company specializing in solar energy and energy storage since 2008. Since 2020, we have remained focused on one purpose: helping people use the sun to cool, heat and better protect the spaces that matter to them.
